8/6-8/8までテキサス州はTAX FREEウィークエンドです

 あまり話題になっておらず、私も知りませんでしたが、昨日から明日8/8まではタックスフリーウィークエンドで、テキサス州で学校が始まる前にそろえるものが免税になります（$100まで）

以下はCHANNEL 11のニュース番組のサイトから得た情報です。

以外なものが免税であったり、免税でしょう、というものが免税でなかったりするので、良く調べてから買い物をすると良いです。例えば、スニーカーなどは課税対象ですが、腕時計は免税だったり、ドライクリーニングや靴の修理などは免税だったりするようです。

尚、明日の真夜中11時59分までの買い物ができれば免税になり、その買い物はネットでの買い物も含まれます。ただしネットの買い物の場合は、単品$100以下である必要があるようですので、買い物をした後チェックアウトをする際に税金が課税されていないか確認をしたほうが良いかと思います。

ネットの買い物ですと、今は楽天に登録をして、楽天のサイトに提携している店であれば購入額の何パーセントかのリベートが得られます。このリンクを使って登録をすると買い物をした後$30のリベートがついてくるそうです。特に入会金などもなく、メールアドレスと、リベートの小切手かギフトカードが数か月に一度郵送で届くので、その住所の登録が必要です。かなりのお店が登録されているので一度調べてみると良いかと思います。
